Key Features:
First off, the new Studiotone is noticeably larger, which you can immediately hear in the sound. It delivers a deeper, warmer tone than its predecessor. All the specs only improve with this change. The front panel has been replaced with a modern look, including the handle bar on top.

This amp offers far more features and power than you might expect at first glance.
Sound and Features:
The Studiotone is well-known for its smooth clean channel, thanks to the two EL84 power tubes. These tubes deliver a beautifully saturated overdrive with two different settings.

In addition, the Studiotone comes with two voicing switches. The 2-way mid-shift lets you boost the mid frequencies, while the 3-way bright shift allows you to emphasize or reduce the high frequencies.
The overdrive also features 3 settings: Low, Medium, and High, which create a clear and audible difference. This is an amazing function for switching from classic rock to modern metal tones.
Rear Features:
Take a look at the back of this beautiful amp, and you'll discover a wide range of other features. How about a serial effects loop, recording output, and two direct outputs? You can connect the unfiltered output to the clean input of your amplifier and the low-level output to the effects return input.
And if the neighbors or kids are sleeping? Simply use the headphone output in combination with the speaker on/off switch, and no one will know you're working on your musical creations until the early hours.
