The Revv 10th Anniversary Generator 120-watt is a limited edition MK3 amplifier with custom modifications based on the early sought-after Revv models, including the original prototype. You’ll find the same 4-channel versatility, dual-tone functionality, and uncompromising Canadian craftsmanship as the production MK3, but with careful circuit adjustments for greater response to pick attack, aggressive midrange, and an open frequency response.
The Generator 120 has come a long way since its debut in 2014. Initially beloved by mix engineers, producers, and early guitar YouTubers, Revv has continually worked to update designs, integrate new technologies, and learn more every day about what makes a guitar sound great. This flexibility and dedication to receiving feedback has been incredibly beneficial to Revv and led to innovations like Two Notes. However, Revv also noticed that certain years and variations of the Generator were highly desired. It’s true: small design tweaks and component changes have led to different tonal characteristics for Revv amps, even within the same model, and guitarists inevitably search for ‘the best’. While the Generator 120 MK3 is the best amplifier they’ve ever made, there are elements from earlier designs that we wanted to incorporate into the MK3 platform so everyone can access 'the best'. The goal was not only to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Generator 120, but more importantly: to explore Revv's history and help add that extra 10% that will make you go "wow" as soon as you plug it in.
