The D17E N is a dreadnought and perhaps the most popular model and we understand that all too well. A good dreadnought can do a lot! The sound box is large and you can hear that immediately in your sound. With this guitar you won't get lost in the band. Great for strumming chords, but this model also sounds great with bluegrass and fingerstyle.
Nice to mention where exactly the word dreadnought comes from. This model was launched in 1916 by the major brand Martin. At the time, the size of the guitar was unique, which is why it was named after a large English Battleship.
What is different about this D17E compared to the D-Alpe?
This D17E N has a beautiful solid American red cedar top and that sounds different from the Alpine Spruce top to easily explain.
But above all, experiencing it yourself by coming by, playing, listening, feeling, etc. is really the best way to hear the differences and ultimately determine what really makes you happy.
