We present the truly dazzling “Mayfield Pro” model from the Framus Teambuilt pro series. We are regularly amazed when we get a new Framus guitar in the shop, but this is really one of those that remain in cycling terms "outside category". Really drool-worthy and almost too beautiful to play. The 3rd Mayfield we receive is in a Burgundy Red transparent high polish version and it just had to happen. It is the color that seduces many guitarists and we have also fallen for this version.
Larry Carlton, Alvin Lee, Chuck Berry, BB King, Chuck Brown, Eric Clapton and also rock icon Dave Grohl all play or have played on this iconic model.
The model is recognizable by the lateral "wings" formed by the two "cutouts" and the two violin style f-holes in the hollow chambers. Years later, numerous variations and other models based on the design of this legendary model have been released.
Framus more than does the model justice. The specifications, the build quality, the finish, but ultimately the sound, the feel, etc. is what makes the difference.
We don't really know where to start. The triple A flamed maple top and back with solid maple sides and maple neck. What to say about the striping at the back of the neck?
The rosewood fingerboard is of course equipped with Invisble fretwork (ITF) and spot fretwork. Unique because Framus is the only one that does this compared to the major brands. The original Seymour Duncan pickups, SSH-1N in the neck and the SSH-4 in the bridge do exactly what they do in combination with this model. The result is astonishing and we say: come and experience it for yourself.
An amazing Burgundy transparent high polish finish makes this model a must have in your collection.
The Graphtech Ratio locking Tuners are great including the Graphtech nut! The fluorescent side dots complete it. Naturally supplied with strap locks in a more than solid gig bag, this guitar is ready to go home with you. Come see this model from Framus in our shop!
The brand will not disappoint you.
