What makes guitar amplifiers from the past so sought after?
Could it be the looks? The sound? Or maybe it is both?

When designing the new classic amplifiers, Koch certainly has thought of both: the Koch Classictone II series! It is clear that some iconic tube amplifiers were looked at, because the new series consists of four classic tube amplifiers equipped with EL84-Einden tubes for a warm sound with great overdrive.
 
Calling a new product a classic may seem a bit strong, but it is hard to deny that they have achieved it with these new 20 and 40 Watt amplifiers.
 
The looks of this head version are certainly vintage and Koch has succeeded in simulating the sound of the past in the Combo and Head models, both of which are available in a 20 Watt and a 40 Watt version. We have opted for the 20 Watt version. Handy for home and on stage you can open the AMP completely so that it comes into its own 100%.
 
A large part of the classic sound comes from the EL84 end tubes that deliver a typical crystal clear, random high. The tubes tend to a vintage British sound. This gives the Koch Classictone II series amplifiers the wonderful combination of a warm clean in combination with a heavy overdrive, complete with characteristic 'singing' overtones and a healthy dose of compression.
 
The front panel is equipped with a setting for the master volume, so that you can fully enjoy the tube compression, whether you are at home, in the studio or on stage. The switch works as a weaker and with a accurately reacting equalizer spread over the three channels, the sound never becomes thick or muddy, regardless of which setting has been chosen.

KCC112 60 Watt
You can connect the Classictone II to different speaker cabinets. Of course you can go through the possibilities with us. We have opted for the crazy KCC variant. Why? Small, compact, light and a sound to tell you for: at home, studio and stages.
 
The Koch KCC112 cabinet has an impressive low-end punch for its size, thanks to a front-ported, closed-back design and a great sounding 12 "VG12 60 speaker who can handle up to 60 watts. It was developed as an expansion speaker cabinet For guitar amplifiers such as the Jupiter, Studiotone and Twintone III Combo's and Heads.
 
You can connect each top or amplifier to the 1 x 12 "cabin, and you will be amazed by the enormous tones you get. This cabin is made of high-quality 11-layer birch multiplex with wood-on-wood connections, which the the Tonality improves and at the same time offers rock-solid reliability that you need on the road or in the studio. Covered with stylish (and sturdy) black vinyl, the KCC 112 cabinet with a closed back is a supplement to almost any installation.
