Why are we so in love with the brand and the Pro series? Build quality, finish, feel, sound and the service of the brand is of such a high level that with other high-end brands you quickly get private stock, custom shop with the price that is immediately linked to it. Framus remains modest in everything, although we don't think that should be necessary because this brand is simply awesome.
 
Like this 5'R. Framus designed this contemporary model together with icon Stevie Salas. The living legend has played with stars such as Bootsy Collins, Rod Stewart and Justin Timberlake, but also does not shy away from designing a legendary guitar. We hope that this model will become iconic. Not a look-a-like, but a truly unique shape that is truly amazing.
 
Upon first introduction you will feel this model feels natural. Sometimes you pick up a guitar and you have to build a bond with it. With this model, that band is immediately available and you have a choice of single coil and humbucker variants. You also have a choice in finish. High Gloss or a satin finish.
 
The swamp-ash body provides a transparent feel and a resonant feel. This, in combination with the Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, ensures a smile from ear to ear. The IFT - Invisible Fretwork Technology, Plek Fretwork also applies here. The Graph Tech parts are also sublime.
The pickups really need to be highlighted.
 
Do you recognize that enormous noise from those old Strat pickups? With these pickups that is a thing of the past.
Each Stratocaster pickup (STK-S4) is hand-tuned for that warm bell-like tone without the associated 60-cycle hum.
 
The Classic Stack plus neck pickup looks and sounds like a real Stratocaster single coil, but none of the traditional single coil hum. It has all the sparkle and sound you would expect from a vintage Strat pickup.
Like its neck counterpart, the Classic Stack Plus middle pickup offers all the classic Strat sounds. Seymour has built the RWRP reverse wind/reverse polarity to give you that perfect intermediate sound from positions 2 and 4 when split to keep the set completely hum free in all selector positions.
Complete the set with the Classic Stack Plus bridge pickup, which is wound slightly hotter than the neck and middle models to provide even balance and output between positions. In the 1980s a special bottom coil was patented that actually injects negative hum into the pickup circuit and at the end of the manufacturing process Seymour fine-tunes each pickup for maximum noise reduction. You get all the great qualities of a classic Strat pickup, and none of the hum.
Hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Classic Stack Plus Stratocaster pickups use hand-cut alnico 5-bar magnets and come with a spliceable 3-conductor wire to give you access to true single-coil operation. Each pickup wax poured for squeal-free performance.
