Take a look at this one piece White Wash Idolmaker 5'r! This beautiful new Teambuilt Idolmaker 5'r was ordered a long time ago. We say Teambuilt, but we actually speak of a Customshop guitar but at a Teambuilt price. The bleach white wash is not a standard color and what do you think of "black hardware"? Because we have such good contacts and we wanted to do something special for you, we chose this great combination in collaboration with Framus.
 
It was a long wait, but when we look at the end result now, we can only say "STUNNING"
Framus has done a great job with this Idolmaker and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this guitar.
What is special is that we selected the types of wood ourselves during our trip to the Framus factory last October 2022!
 
What makes this guitar so special?
Is it the shape of the body in combination with the very beautiful Swap-Ash, the maple neck, the rosewood fingerboard and the single coil pickups that are really delicious that you will fall in love with?
 
Framus designed this contemporary model together with icon Stevie Salas. The living legend has played with stars such as Bootsy Collins, Rod Stewart and Justin Timberlake, but also does not shy away from designing a legendary guitar. We hope that this model will become iconic. Not a look-a-like, but a truly unique shape that is truly amazing. And say yourself "The headline is already iconic"
 
Upon first introduction you will immediately feel that this model feels natural. Sometimes you pick up a guitar that you have to build a bond with, but with this guitar you really feel like coming home after the first introduction.
The swamp-ash body provides a transparent feel and resonant feel. This, in combination with the Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, ensures a smile from ear to ear. The IFT - Invisible Fretwork Technology, Plek Fretwork also applies here. The pickups deserve to be highlighted.
 
Do you recognize that enormous noise from those old Strat pickups? We will no longer do that in 2023. Each Stratocaster pickup (STK-S4) is hand-tuned for that warm bell-like tone without the associated 60-cycle hum. The Classic Stack plus neck pickup looks and sounds like a real Stratocaster single coil, but without the traditional single coil hum. It has all the sparkle and sound you would expect from a vintage Strat pickup. Like its neck counterpart, the Classic Stack Plus middle pickup offers all the classic Strat sounds. Seymour has built the RWRP reverse wind/reverse polarity to give you that perfect intermediate sound from positions 2 and 4 when split to keep the set completely hum free in all selector positions. Complete the set with the Classic Stack Plus bridge pickup, which is wound slightly hotter than the neck and middle models to provide even balance and output between positions. In the 1980s a special bottom coil was patented that actually injects negative hum into the pickup circuit and at the end of the manufacturing process Seymour fine-tunes each pickup for maximum noise reduction. You get all the great qualities of a classic Strat pickup, and none of the hum. Hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Classic Stack Plus Stratocaster pickups use hand-cut alnico 5-bar magnets and come with a spliceable 3-conductor wire to give you access to true single-coil operation. Each pickup wax poured for squeal-free performance.
 
We are deeply impressed by these pickups in combination with the Framus. Seeing and hearing is believing and that is what we can say at this moment about this Idolmaker 5'r.
