In terms of music style, he cannot be pigeonholed and immediately demonstrates his versatility and diversity. As a 19 year old young musician he could be heard on Steve Vai's Sex and Religion and then the time was ripe for Strapping Young Lad. Listen to Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing or The New Black and be surprised by the aggression of deat, thrash and industrial metal.
 
He then followed his path as Devin Townsend and Devin Townsend band. What a discography this man has built up. Have you ever met Ziltoid, an extraterrestrial being who comes to Earth for the ultimate cup of coffee? Listen to Empath of Lightwork and you will find out how genius this musician is.
 
As brilliant as his music is, so are his Framus guitars and we have now received the first Devin Stormbender D series in our showroom. Together with Framus, Devin has built a truly great guitar with specs to die for.
 
On the Devin Stormbender you will find a mahogany body with AAAA maple veneer in combination with a maple neck and an Ebony fingerboard. Of course with a 25.5 scale and 22 shiny silver frets. The pickups are the Fishman Fluence humbuckers and you must have heard them once. We say fantastic! The strings run over a Tune O Matic bridge and we switch via the toggle switch.
 
This guitar feels very natural the moment you hold it in your hands. We congratulate Devin & Framus, because what a successful guitar this has become!
