​Our story

The Guitar Master Shop is the 'brainchild' of the guitar school of the same name of Paul and Stefanie de Zeeuw. Students often came to them for advice about purchasing a new instrument. The drive and enthusiasm with which Paul and Stefanie helped them choose the perfect instrument is what ultimately led to the creation of this shop. Because how important is good guidance with such an important decision? Paul and Stefanie will do everything they can to see you go home with a big smile!

Paul has been teaching guitar for over 16 years, including 10 years at guitar school 'The Guitar Master', which he founded together with Stefanie in 2009. Over the years he has provided advice to many musicians. The doors of the school were always open to students, friends, acquaintances and musicians from the local scene. Over the years, Stefanie has always been busy behind the scenes of the school: from website and design to the design of the school itself.

Paul and Stefanie also regularly help (beginning) musicians get on stage. Band coaching, clinics, workshops and music days... the duo doesn't shy away from it. In 2019, this even led to the first edition of Masterfest, its own festival with an exciting and varied program full of emerging and established talent. In between, they also do not hesitate to regularly attend a concert or festival at home and abroad. Passion for music? In our opinion, that is an understatement.

A guitar shop is therefore a logical step for the pair. “When you are 20 years old, you have only just started looking and you don't have enough knowledge to take on such a project,” Paul explains. “I am now 45, and through a lot of trial and error I have learned a tremendous amount. I would now like to share this knowledge!”
